The house’s construction took two years, the estate’s overall planning took roughly six years, intermittently. The couple was compelled to live in the guest quarters in order to oversee the development of their mansion.

Inside the house

The house contains six bedrooms, two kitchens, and a wide living area. In two kitchens, one is useful for staff use while the other is a central kitchen for cooking along with family. Three dining areas are provided to surround the kitchen space. To give a contemporary look to the kitchen, it is designed with classic dark wood.

A swimming pool is available in the garden area for leisurely pursuits. A hot tub is attached to the swimming pool. For entertainment purposes, a bar and a pool table are located in a pool house with stone flooring and wood walls. The gym inside the house was specifically made for John’s son Ben. The outside area of John’s house is famous among pilots and actors to chill out. One of his architect says that the pool cabana is a playroom, features stone floors, and a large open area since John intended to utilize it for dancing. With a water slide, a large swimming area, and a golf course, the home’s exterior is a veritable amusement park. His favorite spot is the large patio in the backyard, where he and his late wife used to dance.

The living room includes elegant furniture, cozy couches, and family portraits. The walls of the house are painted with dark polished wood in contrast with the white color palette, to give an aesthetic look to the house. The Parking area

As John is known for his airplanes, he also loves the cars. The house has parking for 16 cars and two plane pavilions. His airplane Qantas-liveried 1964 Boeing 707-138B right outside in front of the door. The other plane Bombardier Challenger 601 business jet, is also parked. They have a 7,500-foot and 6.4 meter wide runway on their property that they are free to use whenever they like. This runway cost approx. $10 million to build.
